Sacred Systems: The Intentional Inbox

Use your email.

Don't let it use you.

With a little training, you can transform your email from an energy drain into a tool that helps you actually do your work.

You weren’t trained for this, but you’re supposed to be good at it.

Most of us never learned how to use email.

We inherited a messy tool with no instruction manual, and now we’re expected to lead, respond, and stay on top of everything.

Sound familiar?

“I never feel caught up because the emails just keep coming.”

“I feel like I’m juggling an unknown number of projects and it is hard to keep track.”

“I keep missing important emails.”

It is not your fault. But it is your reality.

The average professional spends 12 hours a week on email, that’s over 550 hours a year!

For many teams, that time gets swallowed into a swirl of unread messages, unclear priorities, and constant catch-up.

Let’s fix that.

You’re doing meaningful, sacred work, but without sustainable systems and mindset shifts, even holy work can start to feel like survival.

Testimonials

I didn’t realize how inefficiently I was using my inbox until I started working with Jeremy. He showed me a new way of thinking about the projects I work on, including organizing documents and data, restructuring my inbox, and moving away from using my inbox as my to do list. He’s easy to work with, adapts his program to your individual needs, and works with you to maximize your productivity. I highly recommend Jeremy for anyone who wants to think differently about how they manage their email and projects.

Jeremy's workshop series has helped me create long-lasting habits that have made my life more efficient and my email relationship much healthier. One major transformation was a framework that allowed me to create not only a clean inbox but also a more organized system of filing. I don't know where I'd be without his support!

One thing this workshop inspired me to do was take my mail notifications off my phone. Life changing. So not a practice to help trust my process but one that has drastically changed my stress level with emails. Thank you for the inspiration and education.

FAQ

Is this just another "inbox zero" workshop?

Not at all. It is about understanding what your inbox is actually for. Inbox zero might happen, but that’s a by product, not the point.

Yes. I use principles that you can apply to your email (and other digital systems) that can adapt to your role and your work.

Whether you’re in an organization or a congregation, whether you’re an executive or a staffer, this training will meet you where you are.

No, this is not about mastering a specific app, it is about rethinking how you relate to email itself.

My approach works with Gmail and Outlook, and is tool agnostic. It is not about any particular system.

It is unlikely that emails will slow down on their own. This training helps you reclaim time and clarity, starting with where you are right now.

Absolutely! You do not need to have special skills, just an openness to look at email with fresh eyes.

This email training is a great starting point for deeper systems work and I’m available if you want to go deeper.

Whether you’re looking for individualized coaching or broader systems support, we can build something that fits.

The above offerings are predominately imagined as virtual, with video calls and screen-shares.

However, if you are interested in doing this in-person, we can definitely explore than together! Just reach out and we can discuss it.

Absolutely! The principles of Intentional Inbox could be applied to one’s entire digital life and both personal and organizational knowledge management. Email is just a good place to start.
